一串入魂. Every skewer, our whole heart.

Tonight calls for a drink

Unwind with a yuzu highball, a sake flight, or a cold Kyoto beer. The counter's warm, the pours are generous, and the kitchen's open late.

Sake and whisky from Japan's famous breweries, and beer poured with Seattle's own Pike Brewing Company.

An old Tokyo night, grilled over live charcoal

Shinya Shokudo means "midnight diner." We grill every skewer to order over charcoal, seasoned with house tare or sea salt, the way it's done in Tokyo.

The lights are low, the grill is going, and the sake shelf runs deep. Settle in and take your time.

Our Story

Cuts you won't find anywhere else in Seattle

Real yakitori uses the whole bird. Thigh, breast, skin, cartilage, gizzard, heart. Each cut cooks differently and tastes different.

Every skewer comes with a choice of house tare or sea salt. You can't go wrong either way.
